NOVEL STUFF
This section has two clear and distinctly different meanings, one being the stock standard items that we as NOVEL offer to you our client (NOVEL offering) and two- being truly “NOVEL” items and ideas that we have come across and would like to share with you.
Let’s start with the NOVEL offering. As you probably already know we are a small, below the line one stop shop servicing small, medium and large companies.
When I say one stop shop, what I mean is that once we have designed your logo and presented you with your first set of stationery, we are not going to send you somewhere else when you need a banner or an exhibition stand, or perhaps a gift to give a prospective client - these are the other things we can take care of for you.
And visa versa - you can also come to us if you already have a logo, stationery, banners … and all you would like is some framing organised for your office, or some help with a golf day. I hope that this gives a better understanding what we do!

Now I know that may seem like a mouthful, but believe me they are all very common marketing requirements, and mostly done by us on a monthly basis.
Now for the really NOVEL items that we have come across and would like to share with you. Some you may be familiar with and some not!
TRENDWATCHING - this is a website that follows all the latest marketing and advertising trends around the world - most of them fascinating and the marketing ideas and tips one can pic up are really useful
You can sign up for free and receive e-mail news letters, you can also submit cool and funky things that you may have picked up; there have already been a few South African ideas / products being featured
The sister website to this is SPRINGWISE - this too is a very similar website and also has the same trends, tips and information

I HAVE A DREAM …… I think of myself as a creative thinker and am always coming up with weird and wonderful ideas, many of which I have pursued to some or other degree.
I would like to share some of the knowledge we have acquired with you to make it easier if you have one of these ideas and would like to produce a prototype, market the idea and make millions!
Let me start off saying that sometimes it’s just about being at the right place at the right time, knowing the right people and things just fall into place - we do believe in miracles!
For all the other times there is a lot of blood sweat and tears required to make something happen.
The process makes you realise that the only way to do something is to do it properly - do the research properly, get a lawyer to help you with the documentation, if necessary apply for the necessary patents, get the item properly packaged, bar-coded and ready for distribution.
Most of all market the item properly. If you are not willing to put this essentially required time and effort into you idea then I would suggest that you rather spend you money elsewhere, or sell you idea! There are companies that will take you ideas to other companies looking for new innovations, and if they end up buying your idea you get some cash!

NOVEL STUFF THAT HAS BEEN DONE BUT IS DIFFICULT TO FIND
If patenting an idea and running with it is not your thing, but you have however come across something on an overseas business trip or was given as a gift that you think could be a perfect marketing tool and are having difficulty finding it - let us help you.
We have relationships with various suppliers and would most certainly do our best to find it for you - the only consideration here is that most times there will be minimum order quantities involved in bringing something into the country - this hurdle can be crossed at a later stage, for now rather than give up on the item, lets see if we could source it for you.
